At MTRX, the safety of our customers and employees is always our highest priority. We want everyone on our trains to feel safe. We therefore carefully follow the recommendations of authorities and are prepared for rapid changes.

I'm worried about the corona virus and want to cancel my trip with MTRX, can I get my money back?
On March 19 the Public Health Agency of Sweden issued a new recommendation regarding limiting domestic travel. Because of this we now offer travelers with a FIX ticket the opportunity to re-book their trip and receive a voucher code of the equivalent amount. The code can be used to book trips on mtr.se with travel date up to and including December 31 2020. The offer applies for tickets that were booked up to and including March 19 with travel date from March 19 up to and including April 30.
To cancel your trip, email us your booking reference to [email protected] at least 48 h before deparure. The voucher code will be sent to your email within three weeks.
If you have a FLEX or 1 CLASS PLUS ticket you can cancel your ticket as usual. You can easily do this via the booking confirmation you received when you booked.
Is it safe to travel by train?
We at MTRX are constantly monitoring the situation and how the situation is developing, and we follow the recommendations of the Public Health Agency of Sweden. Our trains are cleaned several times every day. There are hand sanitizes on all our trains.
We kindly remind all our customers to take good care of their hand hygiene.
We want everyone to travel safely and securely with us, so right now everyone gets next seat free when booking a new ticket. That goes for all ticket classes. The offer is valid for new bookings with departure day until 30 April. Bookings already made are not affected.
Will you cancel departures, and will I then get my money back?
Due to the current situation we have canceled some departures in April. If you were booked an one of these departures you should have received an SMS with information. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to contact us on [email protected].
