Our trains come from the Swiss Stadler and are purpose-built for Sweden's climatic conditions with reliable systems that will better withstand snow and cold. In addition to the train being run in a Nordic winter climate, they have also been subjected to harsh testing in the "Vienna Climatic Wind Tunnel" and undergone advanced snow and winter tests. Our trains are also 40% more energy efficient than those of competitors (measured in net energy consumption per train kilometer).
Have you noticed that you do not feel as much motion sickness on board our trains? Incredible isn’t it! We don't have a basket slope. Basket slope is when the train car tilts in the curves, but as ours are still and do not tilt in the curves this often helps those who are prone to motion sickness.
We at MTRX value quality very highly and therefore have some interior design collaborations on board, including watches from Breitling and lamps from Bumling. The design classic Bumling was created in 1968 by Swedish designer Anders Pehrson and is one of the most famous Swedish lamp models, which ads that extra little touch on board.
