1. About ClubX
1.1 ClubX is a loyalty program where you as a member are given the opportunity to earn points on your purchases of trips with MTRX. The points can be used instead of cash payment when you buy a train ticket for traveling with MTRX. Membership also includes other benefits, including special offers and promotional privileges. ClubX is available in three member levels; White, Red and Black. Your membership level is determined by how many points you earned during a calendar year. If you have reached a certain membership level, you will maintain this level for the next calendar year. For information on current benefits for each member level, see here.
1.2. ClubX membership is free. Membership can be subscribed here. To become a member of ClubX, the information specified as mandatory must be provided at registration.
1.3. ClubX is only available to individuals. For companies, MTRX offers corporate agreements, which, among other things, provide access to cheaper prices. For more information on company agreements click here.
1.4. Membership of ClubX is personal and only one membership per email is granted. Furthermore, membership is only available to people over the age of 18. When you register as a member of ClubX, a user profile is created on the Website, where you can see, among other things, the current score status and membership level.
2. Earning of points
2.1. To earn points, you need to buy a train ticket for travel with MTRX and then complete the journey. You can buy train tickets either through www.mtrx.se or through a travel agency. Earning points through purchases on the website requires that you be a member when the purchase occurs and that you enter the same email address as you registered your account in when you book a ticket. Earning points when buying a train ticket from a travel agent requires that your ClubX membership number or email address is stated in the booking. It is not possible to post-register points and service fees for rebooking or name change are not point-based. In the event of a name change, the points are only awarded to the traveler to whom the ticket was changed.
2.2. Points are only earned through trips performed by MTRX. This means that if you buy a so-called Resplus travel, which means a combined trip with MTRX trains and one or more other transport companies' means of transport, points are earned in ClubX only for the part of the route that MTRX operates.
2.3. The points are earned as soon as the payment transaction for the current purchase, and the journey, is completed. If a payment for a good or service is repaid or redone, earned points will revert to MTRX. Earned points will normally be available within one (1) day of the trip linked to the points being completed. MTRX reserves the right, because in some cases it may take longer before the points are available when you log in to your user profile on the Website.
2.4. Train tickets obtained through the withdrawal of points do not justify earning new points. MTRX reserves the right to exclude the possibility of earning points for certain special offers. 9. MTRX strives to expand the selection of goods and services that earn points. Information on how to earn and earn points, and the offers and benefits offered to members from time to time, can be found on the Website.
3. Withdrawal of earned points
3.1. Points earned are valid during the year of accrual and even the end of the calendar year that falls two (2) years thereafter, after which they will expire if you have not used them. This means that points earned in September 2018 will be valid until the end of 2020, if they have not been used before.
3.2.You can withdraw points by choosing to use points instead of cash payment when you buy tickets through the Website. Withdrawing points requires that you are logged in to the Website. Points have no economic value and cannot be redeemed for cash or used when purchasing tickets from other carriers.
3.3.MTRX's other terms (including the Terms of Purchase and the General Terms and Conditions for the Carriage of Passengers by Rail) apply to journeys obtained through the withdrawal of earned points. These terms are available on the website.
3.4.MTRX will not be liable for any taxes and other penalties incurred by you on the basis of the earned points.
4. Processing of personal data
4.1. MTRX collects and processes certain personal information relating to you when you apply for and use your ClubX membership.
4.2. MTRX is responsible for the processing of personal data. Read more about how MTRX processes your personal data and about your rights under data protection law in our privacy policy.
5. Other provisions
5.1. You are responsible for ensuring that your login information is treated confidentially and in such a way that unauthorized persons cannot access it. MTRX is not responsible for any stolen, misused or embarrassed login information or for any unauthorized use of your login details and / or points earned by third parties.
5.2. MTRX reserves the right to change these Terms from time to time. You will be informed of any material change of terms via your most recent email address no later than thirty (30) days before the changes come into force. The latest version of the Terms is available on the Website. You are responsible for your email address being updated and for informing MTRX of the email address you provided when signing up for ClubX membership. You agree that all communications relating to ClubX are electronic.
5.3. You can cancel your ClubX membership at any time by contacting MTRX at the following email address: [email protected].
5.4. MTRX has the right to terminate membership immediately if you breach any applicable law, these Terms or MTRX's other terms, misconduct you in connection with train travel, e.g. by threatening behavior towards staff or fellow passengers, or abusing your membership of ClubX in a manner that, according to MTRX, is not in compliance with the Terms. Upon termination, all points earned will cease to apply.
5.5. MTRX reserves the right to cease ClubX with immediate effect. Withdrawal of earned points must then be made within six (6) months from the announcement of MTRX that ClubX will cease. The absolute last date for withdrawal of earned points in ClubX is 2024-12-31.
5.6. MTRX has the right to transfer its rights and obligations under the Terms to another. You do not have the right to assign your rights and obligations under these Terms without MTRX's written approval.
6. Applicable law and disputes
6.1 Disputes concerning the interpretation and application of these Terms shall be settled by a general court, with application of Swedish law.
